Happy Yoga Monday!

Hi friends! Happy Monday!

I hope everyone had a great weekend and got out and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine with nice breeze temps. I know I did! Got some beach time in. Got my Jesus on yesterday for Palm Sunday service at Bridgepoint. I'm feeling Joy and restoration. In my mind and my heart. I'm ready to start the week.


This morning I took my 1st Vinyasa Flow class and it was soooo good! My body is missing the yoga stretching when it's been more than a couple days. I'd say that's a great thing to happen, wouldn't you?


The Vinyasa Flow has you holding poses longer than a Hatha class does. You go from one pose to another fairly quickly and hold it. I broke a sweat....Hello!?!?! That doesn't happen all the time for me so I knew I was workin' it. Lol!


My balance is improving and that feels good, an achievement I never thought I'd even be thinking about much less doing.

I'm 57 and sadly our society starts to "write us off" once we near and surpass 60...sometimes 50. Well I'm here to tell you it doesn't matter your age, you CAN DO ANYTHING you set your mind to. Like I've said before if you had told me 3, 5, 12 months ago I'd be doing yoga AND it would help me with GI issues, strength, and balance I would've laughed in your face. Like truly bahaha. But I'm here doing it. Improving at it. Killing it.



I feel accomplished now and I want that for you. I want you to remember you are worthy and deserve to be the best version of you. So don't let anyone talk you down from being happy and wanting to do things to help yourself. I wish everyone a great Monday and we'll talk soon. Hugs! 😘
