Happy Yoga Tuesday!

Hi Friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Holiday and didn't eat too much chocolate. Wait...what am I saying??? Who can have too much chocolate. And yes, I am a Peep lover too! Don 't hate! Lol!

The weather was perfect and if you are a believer as I am,

Christ is Risen!

This morning, I took a Hatha with resistance bands and the instructor tweaked it to focus on core, abs, glutes and legs to enable me to get a great yoga workout without having to use my arms/elbow. It was soooo great! I needed it and I'm feeling it! It reminded me of back in the early days of my 20's-30's when aerobics and sculpting classes were the thing. Up north I was an active Spa Lady member. Dating myself for sure now. Bahahaha!

Today's class reminded me and it felt nostalgic and familiar. Sometimes it's nice to do something that at one time felt good in your life and you liked how you felt afterwards. That's how I feel right now. When you do something for YOU and feel your body enjoying it as well it's a sense of accomplishment and grounding within yourself. I truly feel doing yoga makes me feel whole and joined together as one body, one mind and one spirit. I don't feel disassociated from myself which is easy to do and feel when you suffer from mental illness.

I still encourage you to come to the studio and at the very least try the BOGO for 1st time members, $22 for two classes of your choice and you have 30 days to use them. You won't regret it I promise.
