Claire

Claire has been practicing yoga since 2014 and holds a 200 HR-RYT certification. Her journey with yoga began with a shoulder injury from years of competitive swimming. Claire developed a passion for the yoga practice and its’ ability to inspire mindful movement. Claire’s professional experience is varied. She worked in digital media the health and wellness industry at Rodale, collaborating with teams across brands including, Women’s and Men’s Health Magazines. She then moved to Madrid, where she taught English as a Second Language and worked in program coordination for four years. She often integrated yoga and mindfulness into her classes,
doing yoga in physical education classes and implementing a mindfulness program to help teach students’ healthy mechanisms to cope with and relieve stress and anxiety. Inspired by her passion for health, she pursued a Master’s in International Health Policy at The London School of Economics and now works in health public affairs and policy. While in London, Claire taught weekly yoga classes at the Central London YMCA and Virgin Active gyms. Yoga has been her foundation for self-discovery throughout all her life experiences. For Claire, teaching yoga is way to get involved with and give back to her community. She feels alive when she is teaching and enjoys connecting with students and helping them discover the joy of yoga. She strives
to build creative and accessible classes. As an athlete, Claire is passionate about using yoga to
compliment other forms physical movement and exercise. She believes there is a place for everyone and every body in yoga and looks forward to welcoming you in the studio!
